Dont violate the laws of Church Physics !

Rough English Translation of the video for non-Hindi speakers: “We didn’t come by ourselves. Parbhu brought us here to Save you from Ghosts and Black Magic. Jesus will free you from all this. Have you been saved from your Sins? Have you received eternal life? If the Kingdom of God comes, will you be able to enter it? Bible teaches that everyone is a sinner ! The Punishment is eternal Hell fire. But God doesn’t want you to go to hell. That is why Jesus came to the Earth. He was crucified for your sins…. ” Then he talks about a blind man being granted vision by Jesus.

How come I am still a sinner when Jesus Christ already died for all of our sins? Why would I still become fuel for eternal Hellfire? Why was I excluded in the first place? It’s like time travel. If I listen and be obedient to the church, then this information travels back in time and I get added to the list of people for whose sins Jesus has already paid the bill and then I get to live Deluxe life MNC style . Wow the Church ought to teach us some time travel first ! . The conclusion is that the if the Church believes in eternal Hellfire, then it can never convert everybody into “Believers” because if Hellfire is eternal, then that would mean that it requires an infinite amount of fuel or a constant supply of Non- Believers to keep it going and saving ( or converting ) everybody would therefore violate the laws of Church Physics !

Barbarians have been showered with Peace and Light ( for > 1000 years )

On 22nd May, a news item appeared in several National and International media houses informing us that members of the religion of peace, peacefully carried out their peaceful agenda of cancelling the right of non peacefuls to exist. Many people try to justify the formation of Radical Islamist groups by attributing it to socio-economic and political problems. Even in the case of Rohingyas, the  International media which is heavily tilted in favour of proselytizing Abrahamic faiths and Marxist Ideologues came up with the following theory:

Arsa – the Arakan Rohingya Salvation army – are a group of trained fighters estimated to be in their hundreds. It was formed in around 2012 in reaction to long-term systematic discrimination against the Rohingya community in Rakhine, but only came to prominence in October 2016 after a series of attacks on Myanmar’s security forces.”

I want to ask the following question: If it was created as a tool for rebellion against Myanmar govt, why did these people kill the minority Hindu population? The minority Hindu population was given a choice: Convert or Die! It is time to reject propaganda and go to the real reason for religious disharmony. .Exclusivist arguments(“the one true God and the one true path” type arguments) are the core reasons for religious disharmony in the world. It is time that Hindus, Dharmic and non-Abrahamic people wake up and see the reality as is. Abrahamic religions infuse almost all of their followers with the doctrine of exclusivity which leads to hatred (sometimes subtle contempt and sometimes radical) towards non-believers and this is not limited to extremists! Only this can explain why “we” are considered Heathens, Kaafirs, idolators and infidels! Only this can explain why the Christian missionaries are so passionate about saving us by showing us the “light” and true path to salvation. Only this can explain why many peaceful Indians have a huge Amnesia when it comes to the Exodus of 1,70,000 Kashmiri Pandits who are their fellow Indians while they had no problem at all in condemning and remembering  the ouster of Rohingya Muslims  from Myanmar.
So, the next time when someone says that they ‘tolerate’ your religion, explain to them that this Latin origin term implicitly suggests an imbalance of power in the relationship, with one of the parties in the position of giving or withholding permission for the other to exist and does not presuppose that we are equally worthy of honour. We must demand mutual respect. This can be clearly illustrated by the following queries from our side as suggested by Shri Rajiv Malhotra:

  1.       “How do you perceive Hindu Murtis which are often referred to as ‘idols’ by the church/Islam, and are there not official injunctions in your teachings against such idols? “
  2.       “ Do you consider Shiva and Krishna to be God, or among the “false Gods” condemned in the Bible/Quran?”
  3.        “ How do you see the Hindu Goddess in the light of the church’s claim that God is specifically masculine?”
  4.        “How do you see the Hindu concept of self as “sat-chit-ananda” (meaning inherently divine) in the light of the Church’s notion of the individual self as a “fallen sinner” ?”

Unless these crucial issues are sorted out, Religious Harmony will continue to be a fancy term used as lip service by some anglicized Aunties and Uncles in five star hotels hosting Aman ki Asha Tamasha!

The Medium That Connects us all...

INTERNET – MAKING THE WORLD A MIRACULOUS GLOBAL VILLAGE…
My dear fellow netizens! How are you on this beautiful day? Today , I’ve got the wonderful opportunity to write to you as an egalitarian netizen and by that I mean I truly belong to the Utopian Society of equality and empowerment. Yes my kinfolk! You are one hundred percent right! We are all united irrespective of caste, creed ,age, religion, sex and other discriminatory factors which had originally emerged due to ignorance. I can proudly state that the uniting factor is the INTERNET.

Evolution follows certain stringent rules of natural selection and it must be understood that before human civilization began, the only thing that could protect us humans from extinction was our ability to communicate. It is beyond shadow of a doubt that this was the ability which was responsible for the establishment of village based communities which slowly thickened into empires. The imperial order was powerful and led to a lot of development. As human beings evolved, they recognized the importance of democracy in which each and every citizen had a say. With democracy, people began to explore their own passions. It occurred to them that their little ideas actually mattered and that their ideas had brought forth technology that touched the lives of many people. The Industrial revolution helped in broadening of the manufacturing sector so that many people could benefit from the ideas. The poets didn’t consider it a good sign. But it certainly was a miracle in the truest sense of the word. A miracle that was both witnessed and experienced not just by a select few but by a global audience. The next big revolution was the information revolution which can quite aptly be defined as the proliferation of the availability of information and the accompanying changes in its storage and dissemination owing to the use of computers.  It must be understood that the accelerated rate of progress in this field  can be partially attributed to the world wars which had preceded it. To give you a small precedent, jet engines, computers, navigation systems, microwave ovens and the technology to put man on the moon all came from technology invented or rapidly improved upon during the war. Although the war gave rise to a lot of technological advancement, it wont be redundant to say that it divided the world into smaller and smaller segments. It was during this time and surprisingly in this backdrop , in the post war period that the Internet came into existence.  In these most dramatic of times when the world was extremely divided, few scientists began to dream about a unified world where people from one part of the world could communicate freely with people from another part. They realized their dream and were successful in facilitating the transfer of ideas from one part of the world to another . Today, it is difficult for us to imagine that we were once citizens of a differentiated world. All we know today is that we through our social networking, online banking, online shopping, etc., have access to every person, idea and thing and this makes us the netizens of a Global Village.
I have talked about how important the exchange of ideas is and how the internet is responsible for it. I would like to conclude by answering a rather simple question. What do we understand by the term ‘INTERNET’ . What is the picture that comes to our mind when we hear this word? Well most people imagine the internet to be a cloud. It is not true however that it is a cloud. In fact Internet consists of a lot of connections and interconnections.  Hence the internet is essentially a large bunch of wires called optic cables which connect across continents. The information through these wires travels not in the form of electricity but in the form of light. Light travels through thousands of miles of optical fibres which go under sea! Can you believe it ! There are real cables which connect one continent to another and these cables lie under the oceans. Thus INTERNET connects the world together and this is not just any figurative statement!
The Internet quite literally connects the world together.

THE WALK

THE WALK…

Throughout history, there have been a large number of instances where people had to take walks. Seems like such a simple fact right! Now let us have a small picture…
Before man had an idea of inventing machines to travel in or more popularly, before the invention of the wheel, the only mode of transport was ‘walking’ or its faster brother ‘running’. Well running was essential both for gathering food as well as escaping the fate of becoming food to some predators. Once civilization started, there were the great travellers and traders who used to cross countries in search of more majestic lands. As we kept moving forward, politics got more and more developed and then there are phrases like ‘The Long Walk To Freedom’ which summarize the glory of walking in a very beautiful way.
The above examples seem like really important ones. Now comes our character who was born in France. This man has no reason to walk away from anybody, he does not have any major responsibilities to fullfil, he wants to walk a relatively short distance but then there’s a catch. He does not choose a firm ground to make his walk. He in fact chooses a wire. The good thing is that he can choose where he wants to put up his wire. Well the challenging news is that the authorities may not be quite so enthusiastic. All around him, he sees people who behave as if they are the ‘productive ones’. They all ask him why he wants to do the walk. The man frankly neither knows nor cares for a reason. He simply lives in a world in which proper steel is more valuable than gold. He meets a group of enthusiastic friends who are with him on his mission. When the day arrives, He hasn’t slept through the night but he still enjoys the morning, the rise of the sun.
In front of him, as he is about to take his first step, he sees only the beginning of the wire. It looks to him like a pathway that leads to infinity as clouds engulf his wire. Amidst this great infinite vastness, he finds himself his salvation…the wire…

The purpose and meaning of this blog

I am sure that you are familiar and totally agree with the fact that there's a lot of things happening around us everyday. There are things ranging from art to aerospace, geology to geostationary satellites, literature to large hardron collider, music to mathematics and so on and on and on ... How was man able to achieve so much in such diverse fields? At the core of all these achievements, we can find one absolute reason which is man's ability to understand things using analogies.

We are and we have been very interested in finding patterns among seemingly large uncorrelated data and this has helped us understand things which are seemingly very diverse and yet they all have their tales of resemblance to contents in their brother fields. I say brother now because all these assorted fields have connections in the form of relationships.

The purpose of this blog is to explore these wonderful tales and to immerse ourselves in the pure joy that they give us.
